This ASTM D665 Rust Preventing Tester is mainly suitable for detecting mineral oil with inhibitor, especially the anti-rust ability of steam turbine oil when mixed with water. This instrument is also suitable for testing other oils, such as hydraulic oil, circulating oil and heavier-than-water fluids.

The operating principle is: mixing a certain amount of sample with distilled water or synthetic seawater, immersing the cylindrical steel rod completely in it, and stirring at a certain temperature. After the test period is over, observe the traces of corrosion and the degree of corrosion of the sample steel rod.

1. Imported Omron PID temperature controller with digital temperature display, temperature control accuracy up to 0.1℃.
2. Independent silent stirrers, supporting single or multiple simultaneous tests.
3. Rotating speed and test time of each stirrer are controlled separately; the unit will automatically stop once tests are completed.
4. Splash-type multi-channel liquid circulator to ensure uniform temperature across all test positions.
5. Sliding automatic positioning device; no adjustment required for stirring paddles.
6. Liquid level low protection safety device.
7. Standard 4 test stations, expandable to 6 stations.
